Bombardier John Hancox, R.G.A., has sent

in an application for an appointment to an Assistant Master- -ship in this Colony when he obtains his discharge after the

WET.

This gentleman while serving in the Garrison here was permitted to undertake the duties of an Assistant Master at Queen's College from the 18th. of June,

1917, until the 18th. of May last on which day his Company left the Colony.

The Director of Education reports that

during this period he did most useful works and requests that

he may be regarded as having a preferential claim to an

appointment when a vacancy occurs after his discharge from

the Army.
